About the event
Discover the art of creating beautiful cloth-wrapped pictures using fabric, foam board, and simple tools—no sewing required. In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn how to design, cut, and wrap fabric to create a finished decorative piece suitable for home décor or gift giving. Participants will be provided all the materials needed to complete one small project during class while learning techniques they can continue using at home.
The workshop will be led by Linda Stout, a glass artist with more than 35 years of creative experience and an endless curiosity for learning new art forms. Cloth-wrapped pictures were a natural transition from stained glass, as both art forms rely on many of the same design principles — color, line, texture, balance, and composition. Her workshops are relaxed, encouraging, and designed to help beginners discover both creativity and confidence.
